Why standard SaaS limits growth.

Off-the-shelf tools charge recurring seats and restrict how you customize workflows. We build custom applications that you own, not rent — engineered to scale with your team's exact parameters.

How We Work

6-Stage Delivery Architecture

Transparent two-week sprints, measurable checkpoints, and direct access to the engineers and strategists doing the work.

STAGE 01 1 / 6

Operational Workflow Audit

We shadow how your team or users actually work, identifying bottlenecks, offline requirements, and platform trade-offs.

STAGE 02 2 / 6

Data Model & API Specification

We define the relational schema, role permissions, state machines, and API endpoints before UI production begins.

STAGE 03 3 / 6

Interactive Mobile/App Prototype

Clickable Figma prototypes using native iOS/Android and web patterns so you can test every user journey on your phone.

STAGE 04 4 / 6

Bi-Weekly Sprint Builds

Working TestFlight / APK and staging web builds delivered every 14 days so you test real software, not slide decks.

STAGE 05 5 / 6

Device Matrix & Load QA

Automated Appium/Playwright testing across screen sizes, OS versions, throttled 3G networks, and high-concurrency loads.

STAGE 06 6 / 6

Store Approval & Staged Rollout

We manage Apple and Google review approval, production telemetry setup, and ongoing OS SDK maintenance.

Who it's for

You should hire us if…

  • You have a web product with real traction and users keep asking for a mobile app — but you want it done natively, not an Ionic wrapper.
  • You're building an internal tool that doesn't fit Salesforce, Monday, or Notion and needs its own interface.
  • Your existing app was built by freelancers and crashes on current iOS, is missing Android 14 compliance, or won't pass App Store review.
  • You're a non-technical founder with a clear product in mind and need a team to translate it into shipped code without burning six months on scoping.
  • You need an app that works offline — field service, sales, inventory, logistics apps where connectivity isn't guaranteed.
What ships

What an app engagement includes.

Mobile is less forgiving than web — you can't push a hotfix the same day, and Apple's review stands between you and your users. Every build we ship accounts for that reality.

Technical scoping.
Architecture decisions, data model, API contract, estimated hours per module. On paper before any code gets written.
UI design in Figma.
Mobile-native patterns (not web layouts shrunk), two revision rounds, interactive prototype you can click through.
Native or cross-platform build.
Swift / Kotlin when the use case demands it, React Native or Flutter when the shared codebase earns its weight.
Backend API.
REST or GraphQL built in Node, Python, or Rails — with pagination, caching, and auth tokens handled correctly for mobile.
Push notifications.
APNs and FCM configured, per-user controls, segment targeting from your backend.
Analytics.
Firebase, Mixpanel, or Amplitude with an event taxonomy mapped to your KPIs — not a default install.
Store submission.
Copy, screenshots, keywords (ASO), privacy nutrition labels, age ratings. We manage the Apple back-and-forth.
CI/CD and crash reporting.
Staged rollouts, Sentry or Firebase Crashlytics, automated builds signed and ready for TestFlight / internal track.
Our approach

What we won't build.

A bad mobile app is harder to fix than a bad website — the users already uninstalled, the reviews are already one-star. Our rules exist to stop that from happening.

  • No cross-platform when the use case needs native. Hardware APIs, high-performance graphics, App Store feature parity — these mean Swift and Kotlin. Not Ionic in a trench coat.
  • No MVPs that die on launch. "MVP" has become code for "unmaintainable prototype". We build small but production-grade — ready to grow, not throw away.
  • No apps without analytics. Launching an app blind to engagement and retention is launching blind. We won't ship without the measurement in place.
  • No single-platform contracts without a cross-platform conversation first. If your users split 50/50 iOS/Android, we'll argue for cross-platform even if that's not what you asked for.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

iOS, Android, or both?

Both. For most startups we recommend starting with one platform (usually iOS in the US and UK, Android for MENA and broader-reach markets) to validate before investing in the second. We handle App Store and Play Store submissions and both platforms' review processes.

Do you build native or cross-platform?

Depends on the app. Native (Swift/Kotlin) when performance, device APIs, or App Store compliance matter heavily — fintech, media, hardware integration. React Native or Flutter when speed of shipping and shared codebase matter more — internal tools, early-stage products. We discuss the tradeoff openly in the audit.

How long does a custom app take?

An MVP with core user flows and auth ships in 10–14 weeks. A full-scope app (multi-role, payments, offline mode, admin dashboard) runs 4–6 months. We ship in 2-week sprints with a working build at the end of each so you can test continuously, not only at launch.

What about ongoing maintenance?

Mobile apps need maintenance even if the scope stays frozen — iOS and Android ship yearly SDK updates, Apple requires minimum SDK targets, and dependencies ship security patches. We retain all app clients on a monthly retainer that covers OS updates, Store compliance, and bug fixes.

Do you handle App Store and Play Store submissions?

Yes — including store listing copy, screenshots, keyword optimization (ASO), privacy policy, and age-rating setup. First submission to a new account typically takes 7–14 days through Apple's review; we manage the back-and-forth and resubmissions.

Can you integrate with my existing backend?

Yes. We've connected mobile apps to Rails, Django, Laravel, Node.js, Firebase, Supabase, and custom .NET backends. If your backend doesn't have a mobile-friendly API, we add one — typically a REST or GraphQL layer that handles pagination, caching, and auth tokens correctly for mobile.

Let's build something that actually works.

Every week you wait on rigid SaaS is a week of manual workarounds. Tell us where it hurts and we'll show you exactly what fixing it looks like.
